London-Lisbon day 1

Starting from Brooklands and setting off to Portsmouth seemed like a nice little drive…

It’s 7 hours if you go on a rally. First a test around the start straight and going up the test hill. Not ideal for our car but a respectable 3rd in class result. Three regularities over some ‘home turf’ and coffee at William Medcalf’s Bentley Establishment were fun and, although not perfect, went respectably and more or less trouble free.

This evenings results see us 5th overall and leading our class. There’s nothing in it at this early stage with the leaders only 9 seconds in front.
