Three Castles Day 2

Another early start from Llandudno in the sun lead to a very full days rallying.

Straight into three tests before a short coffe halt at Llyn Brenig reservoir.

We are now in Snowdonia National Park and its spectacular in the sun. Not too much time to enjoy the scenery as three regularities absorbed my attention and another test before lunch. We saw two jets fly overhead on low altitude practice, very impressive!

Three more tests and three regularities saw us at Gwrych Castle, imposing but not that old. I think my house has glass in the windows that pre-date it!

The result of the day is not yet conclusive but our regularity times were good, with the aid of my GaugePilot we only dropped 27 seconds over 18 timing points but there is some dispute over the tests at present. It’s very tight in our class with only a few seconds covering us and two other cars so they all count!
