Winter Challenge day 3

What a day! Amazing route with difficult maps and timekeeping.
We had a great morning and long afternoon prior to dinner and a four hour night section in the fog in the Auvergne. This is one of the best areas for rallying with its roads steeped in ‘Monte’ history, a maze of unmarked twisty roads and tiny villages cling to the mountains and make this one of the ‘must do’ motoring adventures!

More info and pictures tomorrow.

A couple of the unsung Heros:

Sweep legend Peter Banham does his stuff!

More Banham Magic

Chris Newman efficient as ever at a time control.

I navigate on classic rallies in the UK and europe and in my time have competed in many types of motorsport. At home we have an interesting collection of micro/mini cars, a 1958 Renault 4cv, 1962 Fiat 600d Multipla and a 1967 Subaru 360. All in all I spend most of my time 'dickingaroundwitholdcars'
