Car 66 Ready for London to Brighton

The car loaded onto its special trailer ready for the start.

A couple of hours spent fettling and organising a spares and toolbox was well spent in readiness for the indecently (04.45) early start tomorrow.

I have re-familiarised myself with the unconventional controls and after a few minutes running round an empty car park ventured out onto the Queens Highway. The car is running satisfactorily well and is hopefully going to be well behaved in the predicted rain.
Full wet weather kit has been dug out of the ‘extreme clothing’ bag and will almost certainly be donned from the very start.
An early night coming up and I hope to be posting pictures as much as possible during the event, 3G and wifi permitting!
