Leg 3 Wednesday

A beautiful clear day started with a short Autoroute hop to the Col de Grainier, a regular ‘Monte’ section, a tricky navigation through a vineyard caught out most of the field while we muddled through 34 seconds late. More scenic twisty roads followed to lunch for a welcome break.

Lunch stop in the sun

Pre war cars too..

The afternoon went well enough with no big mistakes through some very remote, and picturesque, parts of France. The night loop starts soon and if it is as well planned as the day it will be spectacular.

More later…
