Long Vehicle!

While crossing France near Orleans we got caught up in some heavy traffic queues.
It transpired a convoy of wind generator sails (wings?) were on the same route but at a much slower pace. I knew they were big but when seen at ground level it really shows how large. I estimate each wing was over 40 Meters long thats over 130ft in old money!
Need less to say a quick turn off the main road and onto French “whites” with the aid of a Michelin 200,000 atlas had us on our way past the traffic pretty quickly.

Long load of wind turbine wings.

Close up. 40M plus long.
