Post Show Barbeque

The car show went really well with around 150 cars attending. More blogs and pictures to come!
The Monday Barbeque was hosted by John Braithwaite at his home for our French friends and their old cars, much fine food and wine was consumed and amusing games were organised by Brian Howard. A great time was had by all before the French headed off to Portsmouth for their return Ferry.
Yvonne being particually pleased as her car broke a part in the drive shaft of her Citroen light 15 which I repaired in the morning. This car was bought new by her father and four generations of her family have enjoyed its splendid ride to date. She says she will never sell it. Shame, it’s lovely!
