Day one. Friday.

Bentley “missile”

Riley ‘Bigley Special’

First day got off to a good start, lots of start line banter with old friends and off on a day of hectic regularities and tests. The morning went well with only a few seconds reg’ penalties and a spirited drive around a kart circuit. The results from this give us start position 2.
After lunch it still went well but a minor error on a regularity gave 14 seconds lateness and prudence dictated a careful test on very rough ground. We are in a comfortable 8th position with still a long way to go.
A regularity with 6 timing points tomorrow morning should change the running order somewhat….
